Okanagan residents can expect a flow of bills, letters and magazines to hit their mailboxes in the next two days as Canada Post workers return to their jobs.

Employee at the Gaston Avenue mail sorting plant in Kelowna returned to work Monday afternoon.

The Senate passed back-to-work legislation this weekend, ending the strike and lockout at Canada Post.

Normal delivery schedules will take time to return to, as the backlog of unprocessed mail will take time to process according to Canada Post.
