Penticton is going soccer crazy this weekend.
About 4,000 people have come from all over the province to the south Okanagan for the B.C. Soccer B-Cup, a major soccer tournament with more than 120 games.
1,200 soccer players from 60 teams will participate in the tournament, and organizers say the sport has become extremely popular among youth.
Steve Coates with the South Okanagan Youth Soccer Association says he believes the popularity of soccer is due to the fact it is an affordable and healthy sport for kids.
The tournament continues Sunday with the finals.
