RCMP arrest man wanted for violent robbery.

Just before 10:00 a.m., Monday, a male approached the counter at the Booster Juice at the Capri Mall. He went around the counter, grabbing the 23 year old female clerk and shaking her as he demanded money. The suspect then hit the terrified woman and shook her some more as she tried to open the cash register. He then turned his attention to the till, out of which he took a quantity of cash before leaving.

Acting on information, Kelowna RCMP arrested Escher, without incident, in the 3000 block of Walnut Street, late this afternoon. Escher was wanted for Robbery and Assault.
