Rick Webber

Rick Webber was born in Winnipeg, but as the son of a Canadian Air force officer, spent his younger years moving across the country, including Ontario and the Maritimes. 

Rick began his broadcasting career in 1976 while still in high school. His first job in radio was an after-school rock show on CJRW radio in Summerside, P.E.I. Not long afterward, a summer vacation to British Columbia became a permanent stay with stops at radio and television stations on the coast, in the northwest and then in the interior. Once Rick arrived in the Okanagan and CHBC in late 1990, he knew he had found a more permanent home.
