Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who robbed a Kelowna bank.

Kelowna RCMP say a man walked into the Scotiabank by Orchard Plaza at 4:50 p.m. Friday and demanded money from a teller.

Sgt. Greg Woodcox with the Kelowna RCMP says the man did not have a weapon and did not say he had a weapon.

He received an undisclosed amount of money and fled on a bike.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male between the ages of 40 and 45 with a thin build, wearing a blue baseball knit hat and a black fleece jacket with a blue stripe on the arm.

Woodcox says RCMP and police dogs tried to track the suspect but did not have any luck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kelowna RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
